On the first day of the 2026 red snapper season, the New Buccaneer with Captain Brian and 93 anglers landed an impressive limit of 186 red snapper along with 289 vermillion snapper and 3 blue runner.  The weather was great, which is not always the case in early June, and fishing was very good.

The  Cavalier made the half capacity deep sea 12 hour trip on June 1 with Captain Dusty and 40 anglers.  The half capacity trip is one we offer at a slightly higher price than the normal 12 hour deep sea trip but with fewer onboard.  The trip landed a limit of 80 red snapper as well as 25 vermillion snapper, a scamp grouper and a barracuda.
