Fishing has been good for the past few days on the New Buccaneer 12 hour deep sea trips. On Wednesday 141 red snapper and 93 vermillion snapper were hauled in along with 8 sharpnose sharks, 6 speckled hind, a scamp grouper and a nice cobia (ling). Thursday saw a boat limit of 122 red snapper caught plus 45 vermillion snapper, six blue runner and a mangrove snapper. Another boat limit of red snapper were bagged on Friday plus an additional 64 vermillion snapper and 7 sharpnose sharks. Saturday, Captain Brian and the New Buccaneer landed another limit of red snapper plus 49 vermillion snapper and a scamp grouper. Unfortunately, Sunday’s trip was cancelled due to weather.
