The New Buccaneer made deep sea 12 hour fishing trips on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These trips had relatively small crowds and good fishing. The 36 anglers on Friday landed 271 vermillion snapper, 8 blue runner, 3 scamp grouper and a strawberry grouper. The 56 fishermen on Saturday hauled in 292 vermillion snapper and 6 blue runner while Sunday saw 37 anglers also land 292 vermillion snapper, 4 blue runner, one squirellfish and an eel.
