The New Buccaneer and Captain Brian have made two great 12 hour trips taking advantage of the recent re-opening of the red snapper fishing.   On Saturday, December 13 the New Buccaneer hauled in a boat limit of 142 red snapper along with 241 vermillion snapper, 14 lane snapper, 4 red hind grouper, 4 scamp grouper and a mixed bag of other fish.  A very strong cold front came in the next day and ended offshore fishing until the 20th.  Captain Brian and the New Buccaneer anglers had another great day with the December 20th 12 hour trip bringing back another limit of 146 red snapper plus 381 vermillion snapper, 17 lane snapper, 2 scamp grouper, 1 African pompano, 8 crevalle jack and a mixture of spadefish, blue runner, rainbow runner, mangrove snapper and almaco jack.
