Fishing in the Fall can be a challenge mainly due to the weather. It is common this time of the year for cold fronts to blow in and force offshore trips to be cancelled. This was the case for the Sunday 12 hour trip. However, when conditions permit, fishing can be excellent as we saw Saturday. The New Buccaneer with Captain Brian and 79 customers landed a boat limit of 790 vermillion snapper! Also brought in were 4 African pompano, 50 blue runner, 9 spadefish, 1 scamp grouper, 2 almaco jack, 8 lane snapper, 3 sharpnose shark and 2 mangrove snapper.
