😢Goodbye 2025 Red Snapper season!

Red snapper season ended on September 15th - here are the last four red snapper trips, Friday the 12th through Monday the 15th. Fishing was good for the most part with the same issues that existed during the latter weeks of the season: the fish were either very nice sized or small, with not much in between.

On Friday, the New Buccaneer landed 122 red snapper, 91 vermillion snapper, 5 alamco jack and a scamp grouper. Saturday saw a catch of 186 red snapper, 245 vermillion snapper, five amberjack, one scamp, 50 blue runner and eight lane snapper. Sunday was another very good day with the New Buccaneer catching 182 red snapper, 229 vermillion snapper and five amberjack. Monday’s catch consisted of 116 red snapper, 122 vermillion snapper, 22 blue runner, four lane snapper, two amberjack, three barracuda, and four almaco jack.
