Deep sea fishing has remained steady and productive over the past several days, with boat limits landed on both Tuesday, August 5, and Wednesday, August 6, by Captain Brian aboard the New Buccaneer. Tuesday’s 12-hour trip brought in 154 red snapper, 179 vermillion snapper, 2 king mackerel, and several grouper. On Wednesday, customers returned with another solid catch: 136 red snapper, 113 vermillion snapper, 1 king mackerel, 2 dorado, and 3 speckled hind. The Cavalier also had a strong outing on Wednesday during an 8-hour trip with Captain Dusty, bringing in 57 spadefish, 14 red snapper, 32 bonnethead shark, 6 blue runner, and 1 almaco jack.
