On Tuesday, July 29, Captain Brian piloted the New Buccaneer on a 12-hour trip, where customers landed a boat limit of 170 red snapper along with 78 vermilion snapper, a dolphin, and a scamp grouper. A mechanical issue prevented sailing on Wednesday, but on Thursday, July 31, Captain Dusty and crew put New Buccaneer anglers on a solid catch of 136 red snapper (a boat limit), 124 vermilion snapper, 4 rock hind grouper, 4 mangrove snapper, and 3 barracuda.
